BharatCode Build League

Build the tools India will code with.

Round 1 is open. Build a harness or wrapper on top of BharatCode — a CLI agent, an editor integration, a copilot for your field — and let the work compete in public.

Open to students and serious builders. Students get BharatCode free.

01/03First prize

₹10,000

Cash, decided by the community score. No judges' black box — stars and votes, counted in the open.

02/03Product track

Your harness, shipped.

The winning harness becomes an official BharatCode product — we engineer it with you, distribute it, and your name stays on the work.

03/03Public proof

Get seen.

Every strong entry is reviewed in the open by the BharatCode team and the community — the work speaks for itself.

How to enter

STEP 01

Put your name in.

No finished project needed. No forms. Your name holds the spot — solo or with a small team, student or not.

Your entry is tied to your BharatCode account — sign in and you're one tap away.

Your entry, part two

STEP 02

Pick your build.

A harness is anything that puts BharatCode to work for someone else. Tap the one you'd ship — that's your track, saved. Switch any time before the cutoff.

STEP 03

Ship it where everyone can see.

Your harness lives in a public GitHub repo — named anything you want, with BharatCode.txt in the root. The score is half GitHub stars, half votes from registered BharatCode users. Public work, public proof.
