BharatCode CLI
Install once, sign in through the browser, then run BharatCode from the folder you want to work in.
$ npm install -g bharatcode $ bharatcode auth login $ bharatcode .
Download the desktop app, or use the BharatCode CLI from a project folder. Sign in once with your BharatCode account; no provider keys are needed. Student accounts created with valid .ac.in or .edu.in emails stay free.

Download BharatCode for Windows, macOS, or Linux. macOS builds are Developer ID signed, notarized, and also available through the BharatCode Homebrew tap.
Windows is unsigned; an “Unknown Publisher” prompt may appear. Linux packages are unsigned too.
$ brew tap BharatCode-ai/tap $ brew install --cask bharatcode-desktop
$ brew upgrade --cask bharatcode-desktop
Google, GitHub, and email/password all create the same BharatCode identity for the web account page, CLI, desktop app, and editor integrations.
BharatCode routes requests through your account. You do not need to bring OpenAI, Anthropic, or other provider keys to get started.
